Before onboarding a dog sitter, we conduct an exhaustive background verification procedure to ensure they are compliant with our quality and safety standards. The onboarding process ensures dog sitters are aware of the do’s and don’ts of working with us. We onboard professionals that have decades of experience looking after and handling different types of dogs.
After submitting the booking form, Pawland will match you with the three best dog sitters in and around your area. This list will be put together from a pool of 350+ petcare professionals from across the UAE.
You will then have the option to choose and take an informed decision on the best dog sitter for your dog while you’re away. You can connect with each sitter over video call for any further questions.
After confirmation & payment, the dog sitter will visit your home to understand your dog’s unique requirements to follow during the dog boarding service at their house. As all our sitters are trained professionals, there’s no doubt that in-home boarding will definitely be a safe experience for you and your dog.
Booking a dog sitter for in-home boarding is now easier than ordering on Talabat. All you need to do is follow these simple steps:
- Fill out a short enquiry form and the Pawland team will quickly get back to you with a curated set of profiles according to your specified requirements.
- You can then confirm the sitter you need from these profiles and pay online.
- We’ll arrange for an in-person Meet & Greet session before the service begins. During this session, you can mention any specifications that you may have when it comes to looking after your furball.
- The dog sitter will then be awaiting your dog’s arrival at their place, or they’ll pick your dog up from yours for boarding.
You can then relax and know we’ve got the rest under control!
As all sitters are highly professional and polite, there’s a very small chance that you’ll even have to raise a request for another one. Moreover, we involve you in the selection process to choose from three profiles and identify the sitter for you.

As per our Standard Practices, it is mandatory that sitters show up well in advance to respect the customer and dog’s time. Also, this ensures that a customer’s schedule is not interrupted.
However, in the unfortunate event that a sitter is late due to last minute emergencies, our dog sitters will make sure to keep you informed. Again, we reiterate that this is a highly unlikely occurrence.
During the course of the in-home boarding session, our dog sitters will make sure they share regular photo and video updates of your dog.
We also make it a practice that sitters send updates about the food intake, water top-up, playtime, and other specific information requested by the parent.
As a dog parent, we know that you would want to stay updated on your dog’s well-being.
Our dog sitters make sure they honour their commitment to dog parents. If there is a situation where the dog sitter cannot show up due to personal emergencies, they will inform the customer in advance.
If this does not happen, Pawland will take complete responsibility to find you the next best sitter and ensure a smooth transition from one sitter to another.
Under No-Show situations, you are completely shielded by Pawland’s Reservation Policy. If you are unsatisfied with the replacement, we ensure a 100% money back guarantee*.
If your dog happens to fall sick while you’re away, our dog sitter will get in touch with you to discuss the next best course of action. Upon your approval, our sitters will ensure they take your dog to their designated vet clinic or hospital.
Our dog sitter will take care of administering any prescribed meds as well. We take your emergency contact’s details down to reach out in the event that you are not reachable/available.
If there is an emergency situation where prompt action is required and you and your emergency contact are not available, our team will take care of the associated formalities. We will shift your pet to the nearest centre that provides care.
As a part of our process, we will take money for these emergencies before the service begins, and return the remaining amount. All invoices and payment receipts for medical expenses and transportation will be shared with you. The remaining amount will be credited to your account after deducting associated gateway transaction charges.
If there are additional expenses that arise due to a decision taken by the Pawland Team for the safety of your dog, we will invoice you for reimbursement of the costs incurred.
