My two Westy dogs stayed with Ralph for around 4days/3nights. I received regular updates and photos all through. They were cared for very kindly, and hygienic conditions were maintained (this was crucial as one of them has a skin allergy). She is highly responsible and caring person, we received the pictures and videos on a daily basis, she was in touch to discuss every situation and to take into account all the additional requests. This was such a great experience. I booked Sheena to look after my two cats and she did such an amazing job and kept me updated throughout with really nice photos and videos. The cats warmed up to her very fast as well, which was great and I was able to enjoy my vacation without having to worry. I booked last minute and was also amazed how fast and efficient it all went.

To book an in-home pet boarding service with Pawland, just follow these steps:

Our pet sitter will visit your home for a Meet and Greet Session. This is an opportunity for the pet sitter to learn more about the pet before the start of the service.

After submission of the booking form, the Pawland Team will review your requirements and recommend the three most suitable pet sitters. You can then make an informed decision on the sitter for your pet after interacting with them over a video call.  Upon confirmation and payment, a Meet & Greet session will be arranged to align your expectations with the sitter’s. All our pet sitters are trustable, safe, & experienced.

Every pet sitter goes through a strict and extensive background verification before joining us. In addition to this, there’s a detailed onboarding process that trains them on Pawland’s high-quality expectations. 

Most of our pet sitters come with a lot of passion and have at least a decade-worth of experience in handling all types of pets. Making things better, your pet is covered by the Pawland Guarantee.

Once a pet sitter has confirmed their availability for a Pet Boarding Session, they honour their commitment to the service. In rare cases, if they are caught up in a medical or family emergency, we will allocate you another pet sitter. We’ll take complete responsibility to ensure a smooth transition.  Although it has never happened, if there is a no-show situation, you are protected by Pawland’s Reservation Policy. We will work on providing you with the most suitable replacement. If you are still unsatisfied, we assure you a 100% money-back guarantee*.
As per our services, all pet sitters must show up well in advance for a pet sitting or in-home pet boarding services.  However, in the case of unpredictable delays such as traffic jams, or other emergencies, the pet sitter will communicate with you up front. If there are further inconveniences, we’ll be prompt in finding you an immediate alternative.

Pawland Pet Sitters are extremely polite, caring, and loving souls. Considering this, it is highly unlikely that you will have to raise a request for another sitter. 

However, if for some reason you request for another pet sitter, we will gladly support you by finding another sitter. We ensure a smooth transition process. For more, you can get in touch with us via the Customer Help Centre.

To brighten up your time throughout the day when you’re away, our pet sitters will update you with photos and videos on a regular basis. As a standard practice, we make our pet sitters reachable via text and provide you with photos and videos of food intake, litter change, water top-up, and any other specific info requested by you.

Although our pet sitters take great care of your pet, your cat may still fall ill from other factors. In the event that this happens, our pet sitter will get in touch with you to determine the next action to be taken. 

After you have approved of the action plan, our sitters will take your cat to the designated vet clinic or hospital. They will also ensure that any prescribed oral medications are administered properly. 

We take your emergency contact’s details down to for instances where you may not be reachable/available. During the sitting or in-home boarding session, your pet is covered by the Pawland Guarantee.

If there is an emergency situation where prompt action is required and you and your emergency contact are not available, our team will take care of the associated formalities. We will shift your pet to the nearest centre that provides care and take money for these emergencies before the service begins, and return the remaining amount. 

All invoices and payment receipts for medical expenses and transportation will be shared with you. 

The remaining amount will be credited to your account after deducting associated gateway transaction charges. If there are additional expenses that arise due to a decision taken by the Pawland Team for the safety of your cat, we request your sincere obligeance.

It all depends on your requirements! If you believe your pet would benefit from being at their own house when you’re away, then pet sitting services are the better option. However, if you believe that your pet should be taken care of at one of our skilled pet sitter’s houses, then in-home pet boarding is for you!
