10. Sean Coonery
Sean Coonery, another gorgeous Maine with a cheeky name, is also featured on YouTube. The Maine Coons’ vocalizations are said to resemble a trill or a chirp as opposed to a regular meow.
They also exhibit his big frame and build very clearly. Maine cats are fated to grow very large, but males tend to get relatively larger than females.
While both genders can reach a length of 40 inches, only the males seem to beat the odds and grow past average sizes.

Despite his massive size, Omar hasn’t yet been officially recognized by Guinness World Records. When his owner, Steffi Hurst, brought him home in 2013, he was the same size as the other kittens in the litter.
Omar’s routine includes waking up at 5 a.m., eating dry food for breakfast, lounging around, playing in the backyard, resting on the trampoline, and eating raw kangaroo meat for supper.

Samson was considered one of the biggest Maine cats in New York until his passing on July 9, 2022.
Diagnosed with hip dysplasia in 2020, Samson measured four feet in length and weighed 28 pounds. Known as Katstradamus on Instagram, Samson had over 200,000 followers.
His sweet nature and soft meow made him beloved online. Sadly, Samson died at the age of 10. According to his owner, Jonathan Zerby, Samson was beautiful, loving, and intelligent a true gentle giant.

He lived with his three feline siblings and made it into the Guinness World Records. However, his unusually long tail often got caught in objects.
Tragically, Cygnus and his feline sibling Arcturus were both killed in a home fire in 2017.

Ludo is not only the biggest Maine but also the biggest house cat in the world. He lives in Wakefield, UK, with his owner, Kelsey Gill.

1. Stewie
Since 2010, Stewie has remained the largest Maine Coon of all time, measuring 48.5 inches long from nose to tail.
He held the Guinness World Record for the longest living cat and also once had the record for the longest tail at 16.3 inches.
Sadly, Stewie whose full name was Mymains Stewart Gilligan passed away from cancer on February 4, 2013, at age eight, in Nevada.
His owners, Robin Hendrickson and Eric Brandsness, said Stewie grew naturally without any special diet or breeding.
