You can reach the park via several modes of transport: 

  • By Private Car: Use GPS to navigate to “Dubai Safari Park, Al Warqa 5”.
    • From Downtown Dubai: Take the E44 (Ras Al Khor Road) or D83 towards Al Warqa, it typically takes 20–25 minutes.
    • Parking: There are three free parking lots (P1, P2, and P3). EV charging is available at Parking 1.
  • By Metro & Bus (Budget Friendly):
    • Take the Red Line to the Centerpoint (formerly Rashidiya) Metro Station.
    • Exit the bus station and board RTA Bus F10.
    • Alight at the “Dubai Safari Park” stop, which is directly at the entrance.
  •  By Taxi: Official RTA taxis and ride-hailing apps like Uber and Careem provide direct access.

  • Operating Hours: Daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Last Entry: Entry gates close at 5:00 PM for visitors with existing tickets; ticket counters may close earlier (around 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM).
  • Best Time to Visit: The winter months (October to May) are recommended for cooler weather and more active animals.

  • Safari Journey: This major attraction operates until 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM depending on daily capacity.

  • Bird Kingdom: 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM at the Explorer Theater.

  • Echoes of the Wild: 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM at the Asian Theater.

  • Giraffe Feeding: 11:00 AM and 4:30 PM (additional fee applies).

  • Ramadan: During the holy month, hours typically shift to 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Yes, Dubai Safari Park is currently open for the season (typically October to May). It opens daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The park closes annually from June to September to protect the animals and visitors from the extreme summer heat in Dubai.

You should plan for at least 4 to 6 hours to explore all the villages, watch the bird shows, and complete the Safari Journey.

There is no metro station directly at the park. The nearest station is Centerpoint Metro Station (Red Line). From there, you can take a taxi or the RTA Bus F10.
